Notes
The writing this season has been weaker, particularly in the present day stuff - why is the 'smoking man' equivalent at the events, so they can recognise him? If they have really just bribed other people, why cut off their phones and smash up their place - if they are just bribing them because of status/chance of exposure, why? They just decide to go back and find the hacker's place smashed, the friend just decides to help - even though the non-smoking man is literally about to walk up to them, he's there watching. The friend doesn't sound incredibly scared on the phone. The journalists keycard and computer access would not still be working, but they needed a lead on Steve - why not have that be what she is doing as she is fired? Etc. etc. Really hope they don't mess up the Simms reasoning, but stand by my take that Common is just not a good enough actor... that's been a problem since season 2, but now it's really a problem.
Summary
The events following Juliette's return come to light—and unexpected allies are made.
