Summary

The Nikon Z50 II is not an inspiring release.  8 year old sensor, not  a lot of new exciting specs.  4k 60p with a huge crop, HD 120p, no IBIS etc.  But for the price, you get 10 Bit N-Log which allows you to use the new RED Luts.  So you'll have a very filmic cinematic look for budget price.  Sony ZVE10 II has better specs at slightly higher cost but Sony color science and digital video look might ruin that.  Canon R10 is pretty much a joke, but it is lighter and cheaper.  Fuji XM5 is actually lighter and cheaper too with better specs in a lot of ways but much worse autofocus.  It's not a terrible release, just kind of boring for those waiting for a video centric flagship aps-c.
