Summary

Episode 13 of our Scotland van life adventure started with a rough night’s sleep in one of the best park ups we’ve found in the Cairngorms. After coffee and breakfast in the van, we headed out for a big hike towards the Lairig Ghru, passing reindeer enclosures, mountain trails, rivers and incredible Highland scenery along the way.

The weather quickly turned against us with rain and hail showers rolling through the mountains, forcing us to rethink the route. But just as we were about to turn around, we met a gentleman on the trail who completely changed the day. What started as a simple photo request turned into one of the most wholesome encounters of the trip.

Back at the van, we celebrated with fish and chips before settling into another peaceful Scottish park up ready for more adventures.
