Summary

After discovering a serious wheel bearing issue on our self converted campervan, today became all about getting Flossie back on the road. We started the morning early and headed to a local garage in Scotland where an incredibly kind stranger let us use a space in his yard.

What started as a stressful van life breakdown quickly turned into one of those moments that restores your faith in people. We managed to replace the faulty wheel bearing ourselves, press the new bearing in, rebuild everything and thankfully get the van driving perfectly again.

But the problems didn’t stop there… Emily’s laptop issues were still hanging over us, so after one problem was solved another one appeared. Real van life isn’t always mountain views and peaceful park ups, sometimes it’s stress, repairs, problem solving and trying to keep going.
