Summary

Our first two days on the Isle of Mull completely blew us away… and honestly, we weren’t prepared for how beautiful it would be.

We kicked things off at Duart Castle, taking in the views from the outside before deciding to save the inside for another time. From there, we headed to Aros Waterfalls where we stumbled across the most unreal crystal-clear pools, If only it were a little warmer, we'd have been in!

Continuing the drive, we stopped off at Salen to check out the abandoned ships before finding a peaceful forest spot to park up for the night.

Day two started early as we made our way to the colourful town of Tobermory. After a wander and grabbing some lunch bits, we hit the road again… and this is where the scenery blew our minds!

We arrived at Calgary Bay, and genuinely, it might be the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen. White sand, turquoise water, it didn’t feel like Scotland at all. We spent the whole day there before heading just down the road to a quiet wild camping spot, cooking dinner and ending the day with the most incredible sunset.

If this is just the beginning, Mull has a lot more to show us…
