Summary

Before we started full time van life, a lot of things had to be changed, so here it is.

This is our simple, self-converted campervan setup. It’s not perfect, it’s not fancy, but it works for how we live and travel. In this video, we show you around our tiny home on wheels and how everything is set up for everyday van life.

Van security is something we’ve been thinking more about recently, especially when leaving the van in random places during hikes or overnight stays. One thing we’ve added to our setup is the VIOFO A329SW dash cam.

It records in 4K from the front, has a rear camera, and a 2K cabin camera which is great for capturing inside the van as well. One feature we really like is the low power impact detection, it stays in standby when parked and only starts recording if it detects a knock or movement, so it doesn’t drain the battery.

It also has hybrid parking modes, and you can quickly view and download footage through the VIOFO app if you ever need it.

If you don’t need the waterproof rear camera, there’s also the A329S version available.
