Summary

Day 18 of our Van Life Unfiltered  30 Day Series.

We woke up to a cold but beautiful morning surrounded by mountains in Glen Etive, easily one of the most stunning places we’ve visited so far.

We started the day by visiting one of the famous filming locations from Skyfall, where we tried to recreate the iconic Skyfall scene in the same valley.

From there we headed towards Kingshouse Hotel hoping to spot the well-known stag that often roams the area… but no luck this time.

Next stop was the bridge over the River Etive with the incredible backdrop of Buachaille Etive Mòr. We got the drone up for some shots… and almost lost it trying to fly underneath the bridge.

After that we continued exploring more of Glencoe, stopping at Lagangarbh Hut before heading to the Three Sisters of Glencoe, where the scale of the mountains really hit us.

Before lunch we squeezed in one more stop at Grey Mare's Tail (Kinlochleven), a waterfall with a unique via ferrata route.

We then found an incredible lunch spot by Loch Leven, before heading to our final stop of the day, the famous shipwreck at Corpach Wreck, with Ben Nevis standing tall in the background.

To finish the day, we found another beautiful wild park up by the water, cooked some dinner and settled in after one of the most packed days of the trip so far.
