Summary

Day 10 of our Van Life Unfiltered – 30 Day Series.

We woke up to one of the most incredible views we’ve ever experienced during van life. After parking the night before on the steep mountain road of Wrynose Pass, we decided to wake up early for sunrise and it did not disappoint.

The morning light slowly filled the valley below us, creating one of the most unreal landscapes we’ve ever seen from a van park up. Without a doubt, this instantly became one of our favourite spots we’ve ever stayed.

Eventually we had to say goodbye to the mountain pass and continue our day. We drove to the nearby town of Keswick, where we spent a few hours wandering around and picking up a few bits we needed.

Later in the afternoon we headed out for a walk near Catbells, but instead decided to follow a beautiful trail along the shores of Derwentwater.

The views were absolutely stunning, although the walk also included a small slip and fall that definitely gave us a good laugh afterwards.

To finish the day we found a cosy little park up not far from town where we settled in for the evening, cooked some dinner and relaxed after another day exploring the Lake District.
