Summary

This was our first ever campervan trip to Bruges, and our first time taking our campervan abroad. We traveled by ferry, drove through Belgium, and spent a cozy winter weekend exploring the Bruges Christmas market with friends in another campervan. From the excitement of traveling together to the nerves of border control, this trip marked a big milestone for us and our campervan, Flossie.

Traveling to Bruges by campervan was something we’d talked about for a long time, but doing it for the first time felt very different once our van became our home on wheels. In this video, we share what it’s really like taking a campervan abroad, driving in Belgium, using a ferry with a campervan, and navigating a busy European city during Christmas market season.
