Summary

Our final day in the Peak District and we weren’t going to let the rain win!

We woke up to another wild and windy morning at a peaceful wild camp spot, but we were determined to make the most of our last day. Despite the wet weather and Emily’s reluctance to hike in the rain again, we took on one of the most iconic ridge walks in the Peak District, the Dragon’s Back, covering Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill.

The wind was fierce, the terrain slippery, and the weather ever changing, but the dramatic landscape made it 100% worth it. A true character building hike to end our Peak District vanlife adventure.

We then headed to the lovely town of Ashbourne for an amazing lunch at The Little Shed Café, before exploring the town and beginning our journey back home.
