It's not like crop sensors produce bad image quality, you can get professional results using apsc or micro four thirds. The problem is, most companies put most of their research and development into their pro full frame bodies. Crop sensors are more of a budget afterthought. Fuji was the one exception because they only had aps-c, that was their pro line. Now, they too have went with a bigger sensor line with their medium format cameras. We might see the x mount suffer like the other crop sensor cameras from Canon, Sony, Nikon and Panasonic.
