Nikon or Canon? The Smarter Camera System to Buy

What is the smarter camera system to buy into in 2024? Canon RF mount or Nikon Z? Canon will have the R1 and R5 II at some point, an R6 II maybe a C50 full frame cinema. RF glass is either super expensive and super budget, no sweet spot vintage lenses with character. Nikon will have the Z6 III and maybe a more video centric cinematic camera with RED. Nikon Z glass for telephoto is superior, and they have some vintage lenses with character like the new 40mm f2. What's the better system? The answer is probably Sony lol.
