Today meant crossing the border back into England after two months in Scotland. We knew it was coming. It still hit harder than we expected. First stop was St Cuthbert's Cave in Northumberland, a 5km loop walk through the Kyloe Hills to a historic sandstone cave used as a resting place for Saint Cuthbert's remains centuries ago. The cave itself was genuinely impressive, the ancient writings on the rock worth taking time over. The trig point at the top of the loop was something else entirely, the wind was completely insane and holding on wasn't optional. After the walk we drove down the Northumberland coast to Bamburgh, wandered the village, got ice cream and made it down to the beach. Standing there, Aurimas said it reminded him of Palanga - the coastal town in Lithuania. Something about the sand, the light, the sea. One of those unexpected moments that stays with you. Six minutes to the campsite, burgers for dinner, quiet evening. Heading south. #vanlifeuk #fulltimevanlife ________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Become a patreon member - https://www.patreon.com/cw/TakeAPeakAtThis Buy Me a Coffee – https://buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis Paypal - https://paypal.me/AurimasKaniava _________________________________________________________________________
