Day two in Edinburgh, but today we went up instead of in. Arthur's Seat, the volcanic hill sitting right in the middle of the city, gave us the panoramic view we were after. The climb is steeper than it looks, Emily's legs were still feeling Ben Nevis two days later, and the route we chose to come back down turned out to be considerably more eventful than expected, loose gravel, steep descent, one of us stressed, one of us laughing. No further comment. After that it was Aldi for a shop, Greggs for lunch, and then a 40 minute drive to one of the best park-ups we've found, a sheltered cliff side pull in with sea views directly in front of us. To fill the afternoon we attempted to bake banana bread in the air fryer. Without a tin. With the batter in greaseproof paper. It did not go well. It was extremely funny. Dinner, thankfully, did go well, and we finished the day watching the sun go down over the sea. ________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Become a patreon member - https://www.patreon.com/cw/TakeAPeakAtThis Buy Me a Coffee – https://buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis Paypal - https://paypal.me/AurimasKaniava _________________________________________________________________________ #vanlifeuk #vanlife #edinburgh
