Last morning at Glen Nevis Campsite, check-out by 11, van serviced, waste emptied, water topped up, everything packed. The plan was Edinburgh but Bank Holiday Monday made that an easy decision to abandon. We rerouted to Perth instead. The drive south through Cairngorm National Park was stunning as always. We left in jackets. By the time we reached Perth the temperature had hit 23 degrees, full sun, not a cloud anywhere. After three months mostly wild camping in the Scottish Highlands, stepping into that kind of heat wearing the wrong clothes was one kind of shock. Realising how strange it felt to be back around people, traffic and the noise of a normal city was another kind entirely. We're heading south now. Back towards Kent. The Highlands are behind us and that's going to take some adjusting to. Perth didn't hold us long, a quick wander and we were back in the van. Found a free park up right alongside Loch Leven for the evening, cooked dinner and finished the day quietly. After everything the last few weeks have thrown at us, a calm evening next to water felt about right. 📍 Glen Nevis → Perth → Loch Leven, Scotland #vanlife #vanlifescotland #campervanlife ________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Become a patreon member - https://www.patreon.com/cw/TakeAPeakAtThis Buy Me a Coffee – https://buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis Paypal - https://paypal.me/AurimasKaniava _________________________________________________________________________
