The day before Ben Nevis and we made the most of it. Aurimas started with a morning run, then we headed into Fort William to stock up on essentials, bumped into our friends and ended up spending the afternoon mooching around town and stopping for pizza. No complaints. Back at the campsite we somehow managed to get all five of us into the van at once, which in a self-converted Ford Transit is either impressive or inadvisable, probably both. Then it was dinner, a chocolate and strawberry dessert we'd seen on Instagram and set in the campsite fridge, and a few drinks at the bar with the group before an early night. Because tomorrow we're climbing Ben Nevis. Britain's highest mountain.
