The plan today was simple - sort a few bits for our friends, then figure out a walk if the weather played along. What actually happened was we remembered, slightly too late, that the campsite booked for the weekend had no electrical hook up. And the leisure battery was already critically low. So the plans changed fast. Coffee first, then a proper think, and we found an aire-style stay with electric hook up, headed straight there and got ourselves plugged in before the battery situation got any worse. With that sorted and a walk off the table for the day, we attempted to recreate the cookies Jon made when we met up in Grantown-on-Spey. No scales, no measurements, just memory and optimism. They came out surprisingly well.
