Today we finally made it happen, we'd been chatting online with Jon from @jons.roaming, a fellow van life YouTuber who was exploring Scotland at the same time as us, and today we finally got to meet. We had a walk together and then settled in Jon's van for an evening of cooking and good food. Jon took over the burgers completely, genuinely kind of him, and they were banging! Then it was our turn for dessert. Air fried cookies. Three people, one campervan and only one person capable! Somehow, mid cookie mix, we'd both retreated back to the seats while Jon finished the cookies as well. The man carried the entire meal and made an absolute sugar masterpiece! After dinner we talked for hours, about life, van life, the real difficulties of living this way and everything that makes it worth it anyway.
