We woke up at a Forestry Commission car park on the Stay the Night scheme, a overnight stop with a walking trail starting right outside the van. The weather was actually sunny for once, so we laced up and went. What started as a straightforward woodland walk turned into something we weren't expecting. We stumbled across the Frank Bruce Sculpture Collection, an outdoor sculpture trail through the forest that's now largely abandoned. Pieces brought down by storms, others left where they fell, the whole thing slowly being reclaimed by the woodland around it. Creepy? A little. Fascinating? Absolutely. One of those accidental discoveries that makes slow travel through Scotland completely worth it. After the walk we drove into town for a food shop to restock the van, attempted to find a shower for the third time running, failed again thanks to Sunday closing times, found a quiet park up and cooked dinner. A genuinely good day that cost us almost nothing. 📍 Frank Bruce Sculpture Collection, Scottish Highlands #vanlife #vanlifescotland #campervanlife ________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Become a patreon member - https://www.patreon.com/cw/TakeAPeakAtThis Buy Me a Coffee – https://buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis Paypal - https://paypal.me/AurimasKaniava _________________________________________________________________________
