Some days on the road are about the scenery. This one was about keeping everything functioning. Today was a full van life admin day, starting with giving Flossie a much needed wash after weeks of gravel roads and Highland tracks. From there we headed into town for showers and laundry. The showers were both out of order, classic, so we settled for getting all the washing done at the laundrette and called the shower situation a problem for another day. Back at the van we did a full tidy of the inside, and then somewhere between clean clothes and a tidy van, Emily picked up the scissors. The van became a barber shop. She was sceptical. Aurimas was quietly nervous. It turned out genuinely well, which surprised everyone involved. Dinner cooked, day done.
