Something’s Wrong With Our Van… | Van Life Unfiltered S2 Episode 5

In this episode of Van Life Unfiltered Season 2, things didn’t quite go to plan. We started the day heading into Fort William to sort out a few admin jobs, including dropping off Emily’s laptop for repair and stocking up on food for the next few days. With an off-grid stay planned, we made sure we had everything we needed before heading out, including booking a campsite to freshen up, recharge the batteries, and get fully prepared. But on the way there… something didn’t feel right. We started hearing a grinding noise coming from the van, something that definitely shouldn’t be ignored. After a quick check, we couldn’t find anything obvious, but we suspect it could be worn brake pads. To properly confirm it, we’ll need to take the wheels off and inspect it more closely. With parts ordered and plans already in motion, we decided to keep going for now, but it’s definitely something we’ll need to deal with soon.
