Continuing our van life journey through the Cairngorms National Park, this episode turned out to be one of the most rewarding so far. After a few challenging days earlier in the trip, we finally slowed things down and focused on getting back outside, starting with a beautiful hike to build up our stamina for a much bigger adventure we’ve got planned. And honestly… this place did not disappoint. From incredible mountain views to peaceful trails, this part of Scotland reminded us exactly why we started this journey in the first place. Later in the day, we stumbled across something completely unexpected, the abandoned Dunalastair House. A once grand mansion, now left to decay, hidden deep in the Highlands. Walking around it felt eerie, quiet, and strangely fascinating, definitely not something we planned, but one of those moments that make van life so unpredictable. We finished the day by finding a peaceful wild park-up by a loch, enjoying a quiet evening surrounded by nature, one of those simple van life moments that just hits differently. The next day, we headed out to explore the stunning The Birks of Aberfeldy, a beautiful woodland walk filled with waterfalls, dramatic scenery, and some of the best views in the area. This episode is a mix of everything we love about van life in Scotland, hiking, hidden gems, unexpected discoveries, and slowing down to actually enjoy it all. ________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Become a patreon member - https://www.patreon.com/cw/TakeAPeakAtThis Buy Me a Coffee – https://buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis Paypal - https://paypal.me/AurimasKaniava _________________________________________________________________________ #vanlifeuk #vanlifescotland
