Day 29 of our Van Life Unfiltered 30 Day Series. After a much quieter night, we finally woke up to something we hadn’t seen in a while, sunshine on the Isle of Skye. We didn’t waste any time. Knowing how unpredictable the weather has been, we rushed out early to make the most of it, starting with one of Skye’s most unique landscapes, Fairy Glen. Even in the cold, the place felt surreal and completely different from anywhere else we’ve been. Next, we headed to Rha Waterfalls, a quick but rewarding stop just a short walk from the road. We then continued further north to the remote Lookout Bothy, where we took on a 2.5km walk to reach the bothy. After making it there, we stopped for a quick tea break while taking in the views, a proper Skye moment. But, as expected… it didn’t last. By the time we made our way back, the weather started turning again, a reminder of just how unpredictable this place can be. To make things more interesting, we’ve now been warned that another storm is on the way in the next few days… which means we need to start thinking about our next move. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Locations in this video 📍 Fairy Glen 📍 Rha Waterfalls 📍 Lookout Bothy ________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Buy Me a Coffee – buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis _________________________________________________________________________
