Day 20 of our Van Life Unfiltered 30 Day Series. After a rest day at the campsite near Inverness, the morning didn’t quite go to plan. We ended up having a very slow start and suddenly found ourselves with only an hour left before check-out, which meant a bit of a rush to get everything packed and ready to go. Before leaving, we stopped in Inverness to stock up on food, refuel the van, and quickly check a few shops in town. And then… we finally hit the road and officially started the North Coast 500. Since we got going quite late in the day, we decided to break up the drive with a short stop to stretch our legs. That’s when we found a really beautiful and quiet spot at Golspie Burn Waterfall & Gorge. It felt like a hidden gem with barely anyone around, although it looked like recent storms had taken a toll on the trails, with fallen trees and damaged paths along the way. Even so, we still managed to enjoy the walk and take in the scenery. After that, we continued a little further north and found a peaceful park-up near the village of Brora, where we settled in for the night, cooked some dinner and got ready for the next stage of our NC500 journey. _________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Buy Me a Coffee – buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis ___________________________________________________________________________ 🔔 Van Life Unfiltered – 30 Day Series We quit our jobs, gave up our flat, and moved into our campervan to see if full-time van life is really possible.
