Day 15 of our Van Life Unfiltered 30 Day Series. Today we said goodbye to the Lake District and continued our journey north, officially leaving England behind as we crossed into Scotland. With a longer drive ahead of us, most of the day was spent on the road as we made our way towards a park up near Galloway Forest Park. But today didn’t quite go the way we expected. After two weeks on the road, the reality of van life started to hit a bit harder. The constant moving, not having a fixed place to call home, and staying in more remote locations can take its toll, especially when it comes to feeling comfortable and getting a good night’s sleep. Instead of pushing through, we decided to slow things down, take a step back, and figure out a plan for the next part of our journey around Scotland.
