Day 14 of our Van Life Unfiltered 30 Day Series. Today was the day we finally took on Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. The original plan was to start early and be back by lunchtime, but after checking the mountain forecast in the morning, we realised the summit was still covered in cloud and fog for most of the early hours. So instead of rushing, we decided to slow things down and wait it out. That decision completely paid off. By the time we started the hike, the conditions had transformed, blue skies, no wind, barely any people on the trail… it honestly couldn’t have been better. We took our time on the way up, enjoying the views and making the most of the conditions before reaching the summit under clear skies. After a quick lunch at the top, we decided to take a different route back down, which made the whole hike feel even more special. Completely exhausted but buzzing, we made it back down, grabbed some drinks to celebrate and spent the rest of the evening relaxing after one of the best days of the trip so far. _________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Buy Me a Coffee – buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis ___________________________________________________________________________ Locations in this video 📍 Scafell Pike 📍 Lake District ___________________________________________________________________________ 🔔 Van Life Unfiltered - 30 Day Series We quit our jobs, gave up our flat, and moved into our campervan to see if full-time van life is really possible.
