Day 11 of our Van Life Unfiltered - 30 Day Series. After a quiet night parked in a lay-by near Keswick, we woke up hoping for better weather, but the storm we had tried to escape from in North Wales had clearly caught up with us in the Lake District. With heavy rain and strong wind outside, we decided to stop chasing better weather and instead embrace a slower day in the van. What followed turned into a surprisingly nice and cosy Sunday. We spent the day catching up on the little things that always pile up during van life, tidying the van, sorting some admin, and taking care of a few jobs that needed doing inside. Later we took a short walk into town to collect a parcel before heading back to the van to get warm again. The evening was simple: cooking dinner, relaxing inside and hoping the weather might finally improve for the next day of exploring the Lake District. Sometimes van life isn’t about big adventures, it’s just about slowing down and making the most of a rainy day. _________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Buy Me a Coffee – buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis ___________________________________________________________________________ Locations in this video 📍 Keswick 📍 Lake District ___________________________________________________________________________ 🔔 Van Life Unfiltered – 30 Day Series We quit our jobs, gave up our flat, and moved into our campervan to see if full-time van life is really possible.
