Day 9 of our Van Life Unfiltered - 30 Day Series. We started the morning at Beddgelert Forest Campsite, packing up the van before checking out for the last time. With another stormy and rainy day ahead of us, we decided to change our plans and start heading further north towards Scotland. After around three hours on the road we arrived in the stunning Lake District, where we plan to spend a few days exploring places we’ve never visited before. Even after visiting the Lakes before, the scenery here still manages to surprise us every time. Since we arrived just after midday and still had some daylight left, we decided to squeeze in a couple of short explorations. Our first stop was Hodge Close Quarry, an impressive old slate quarry surrounded by dramatic cliffs and deep green water. From there we headed to another incredible spot nearby, Cathedral Cave, a huge underground cavern hidden within the old quarry tunnels. To finish the day, we found an incredible wild park up along a narrow mountain road with epic views of snow covered peaks… but we’re saving those views for the next episode. _________________________________________________________________________ 🙌 SUPPORT US: Buy Me a Coffee – buymeacoffee.com/takeapeakatthis ___________________________________________________________________________ Locations in this video 📍 Hodge Close Quarry 📍 Cathedral Cave 📍 Lake District ___________________________________________________________________________ 🔔 Van Life Unfiltered – 30 Day Series We quit our jobs, gave up our flat, and moved into our campervan to see if full-time van life is really possible.
