This week did not go to plan. We live in our Fiat Ducato van. Full time. All seasons. But disaster struck. In the form of a sudden loss of power on a remote back-road, and a recovery truck… plus a long list of previous breakdowns we’d honestly hoped never to revisit. In this episode, we take you through everything - the breakdown, the recovery truck, and our race to get ourselves a working vehicle and a roof over our heads. We take you along as we split up on a mission to keep ourselves mobile and sheltered during a winter breakdown. Angela makes an epic dash to London to resurrect the car - hunting down what’s wrong with it, sorting a new battery, getting it through its MOT, and hoping it’ll get us back on the road. Meanwhile, Danni holds down the fort and documents a much calmer day… until the garage calls. That’s when the news drops: the cambelt snapped, causing major damage.
