We finally did it… we quit our jobs, gave up our flat, packed everything into our campervan Flossie, and set off to start full-time van life. This is Day 1 of our new life on the road. After leaving everything behind, we arrived late at night to the New Forest and spent our very first night parked in a noisy roadside lay-by. Not exactly the dreamy van life start you might imagine… but the next morning made up for it. We woke up to warm sunshine and spent the day exploring the beautiful forest, finding scenic park ups, enjoying food in the van, and soaking in the reality that this is now our life. This is the beginning of our Van Life Unfiltered series, where we’re documenting the first 30 days of living in a van full-time after quitting our jobs and leaving our old life behind. No filters, no perfect Instagram moments, just the real experience of chasing freedom and travel on the road.
