Day 3 of our Peak District vanlife adventure came with rain, wind… and a surprise challenge on the trail. After waking up to heavy rain and low energy, we left our cosy campsite and slowly made our way further north in the Peak District, hoping the storm would pass by the afternoon. Once the sun peeked through, we set off on a hike to The Trinnacle rock formation, one of the most dramatic spots in the national park. The trail was windy, boggy, and wild, but the views were worth it! On the way back, we hit an unexpected problem, a river crossing was flooded due to the morning downpour. With no way across, we had to turn back and retrace our steps… with soaked boots and muddy legs. After a quick lunch stop, we found a peaceful wild park-up to rest and reset before our final day in the Peaks. 🚐 Follow us for daily vlogs, vanlife stories, and UK travel inspiration. 🌦️ Sometimes the best adventures start with bad weather… 📍 Hike: The Trinnacle, Dovestone Reservoir #peakdistrict #thetrinnacle #vanlifeuk #vanlifeadventures
