Did TTArtisan Just Make a Better 40mm f2 Lens Than Nikon?

Comparing the new TTArtisan 40mm f2 lens vs the Nikkor 40mm f2. The Nikon lens is legendary, it has 3D pop out the yin yang, is very cheap and light, vintage style rendering with character. It's how lenses should be made, low element count. Well TTArtisan decided to tackle that lens for some reason lol. I think they did a great job though!
